For an introductory price of $350, writers receive ten beautiful copies of a pre-formatted book up to 300 pages in length. The paperbacks are produced with quality paper and cover stock, and bound and trimmed by hand. Each subsequent printing of ten copies costs $125, with volume discounts available. (Extra charges will be incurred for different formats, glossy covers, multiple graphics, color, or texts longer than 75,000 words.)

Incubation Press’ "perfect bound" books—the publishing industry standard for trade paperbacks—are created with our ground-breaking print-on-demand publishing system. Our posted prices are based on the assumption that you'll use our standard 24-pound (also known as 60-pound) recycled vellum paper and 80-pound matte cover stock, and that your book is no longer than 300 trade paperback-sized pages. Extra charges will be incurred for longer books, linen-finish, glossy or full-bleed color covers (usually an additional $1 to $2 per copy), higher-quality text paper, color on inside pages, full-color covers or more than ten black & white graphics per book. Color inserts are also an option, but that will add even more to the price of each book.

Full payment for print orders is required in advance and is non-refundable.

Incubation Press recommends that you order one preliminary copy of your book as a proof to make sure that you’re happy before your whole, non-refundable order gets printed. We can make any necessary changes at this stage (that’s the whole point). Minor corrections, especially if they have to do with our formatting, will happily be taken care of for free. However, if the mistakes emanated from you, especially if there are a lot of them, additional formatting charges will apply once the proof has gone out. Fee: $25 plus shipping.
